BIO

The constant exploration of music and passion for learning about different cultures have been the main motivations for the sound and music of the Colombian bassist and producer George Kramarski. Among his main influences are Afro-Colombian, Brazilian, Jazz, Funk, and R&B music, which are evident in his sensitivity, rhythmic strength, and energy when playing.

In 2015, George remained active in Bogotá's music scene, and after obtaining his degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Los Andes, he decided to continue his passion for making music at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. During his time at Berklee, he studied under the guidance of world-renowned musicians such as Lincoln Goines, Oscar Stagnaro, Ed Tomassi, Fernando Huergo, Jason Palmer, among many others. In 2019, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee with a degree in Performance and with a minor in Music Production & Engineering.

His versatility as a musician has led him to perform with different bands around New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York, as well as International festivals such as the Panama Jazz Festival and Villa de Leyva Jazz Festival with renowned Chilean Jazz Pianist and educator Orion Morales. George also participated in the UNESCO (Chile) tribute performance dedicated to Grammy-winning pianist Danilo Perez.

Currently, George is based in New York City, completing his Master’s degree (Jazz Studies) at New York University while continuing to develop his musical career. He is focused on collaborating with different artists and also working as an educator, session musician, producer, and mixing engineer.
